Mia has developed quite an attachment to her lil' blanket we call her "Silkie." A friend made it for her, and she loves it. At bedtime & naptime, she reaches for it, and gets excited when I say "silkie?" :) We take it with us on trips- it's now almost as important as her diapers. This video shows her snuggling with it. If this video could get ANY cuter, it would explode.
Mia's Pediatrian visit was this past Tuesday! She is doing great, and weighs 20 lbs. and is 38 inches long! She has gone down from her 95th percentile and now is in the 75th. Dr. said most babies start getting leaner because of all the increased activity. That's for sure! Mia does aerobics everytime she crawls, stands and squats all day! She's a lil' ball of energy. She also got her next 2 shots today, and a routine blood (finger prick) test to check for anemia. Mia did great with all three, and didn't even flinch. I was amazed at her calmness as I sang to her and cringed! It might be more painful for me than her! Her next visit will be when she's one year old! Can you believe she'll be 1 in two months???
