IT'S OUR 7TH ANNIVERSARY TODAY! 7 Years ago we got married! We're going away for a few days on Thurs.-Fri. to celebrate.
Baby-wise, I'm SOOO nauseous this week! I'm avoiding certain foods because they just don't agree with me. (Ex: spicy stuff, grape juice, and leftovers- I used to love leftovers- not now!) I'm supposed to be 7 weeks this week, and I'll be going in for my 8 week appointment on April 22nd at 11am. This will be the more detailed ultrasound and testing. I can't wait to have a clearer pic and maybe hear the heartbeat for the 1st time!
How Our Baby's Growing:
The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry.
