26 Weeks and Counting!

We 're doing great and busy preparing for her arrival! The shower's are being planned, and I'm also visiting Ohio on Sept. 11-14th! Lots of fun things to look forward too. I am also very relieved to find out that Tye likes a particular style of baby names, which narrows my choices down, thankfully! We should hopefully have a name soon! I'm still feeling great, eating well, exercising, sleeping well and she moves & kicks everyday at different times, especially when I'm sitting or lying down. We can't wait to meet her in 3 short months!

How She's Growing This Week:
The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. She may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. She's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of her lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when she's born and takes that first gulp of air. And she's continuing to put on baby fat. She now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel!
