What's Happening:1. I can't fit into anything besides dresses! Argh! It's so frustrating having to change clothes 10 times each morning to find the right fit! And I thought I was picky before I was pregnant! Stay away from me when I'm dressing- it's like a tornado in there! Haha!
2. She's moving a lot- and sometimes it's hard to get comfy at night, because she gets into some weird position! And, when I watch my belly, it moves, and sometimes is lopsided depending on where she's at. :)
3. We are impatient to meet her and see who this lil' princess is that we're so close to! I can't even imagine how wonderful that moment will be.
4. We're still narrowing down names... We stayed up practically all night searching online. It's very frustrating, because the names we like are usually being used or will be used by friends we have. Or, they don't sound good with Hefner! :D
5. Next DR.'s appt. is September 9th! One week from Wednesday. Then I'm leaving the next day for Ohio- woohoo!
6. Tye and I are going to Target & Baby's R Us this week to register for all her things! I'm looking forward to that!
How Our Baby's Growing:
This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.
